I have been facilitating with Talk About Trees since the fall of 1999. This is the most fun job I have ever had and I love talking to folks about one of my favorite topics: TREES! There is so much to wonder about trees. As I have traveled around, visiting schools and groups in Southern Oregon over the past 20 years, I have found that other people love to share and talk about their experiences with trees too. I seem to learn something new about trees all the time (another favorite part of this work).
I grew up in the deciduous forests of Eastern Pennsylvania and my husband and I have been living in SW Oregon for over 30 years. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in Rehabilitation Education, a Masters degree in Teaching, Learning & Curriculum from Drexel University and I homeschool my teenage daughter. My daughter and I enjoy doing digital art, photography, beadwork and painting and the whole family loves to hike together. We live in the National Forest on a small ranch with forest, field and stream, where we have the benefit of curiously exploring the richness of Oregon’s nature every day.”
